Due to its high chemical stability and excellent insulation performance, SF6 has been widely used internationally as an insulating medium for various electrical equipment since the 1980s. However, SF6 inevitably contains trace amounts of low fluoride sulfides during its manufacturing and use, such as SOF2, SO2F2, S2F10O, etc. These gases are highly toxic and corrosive, posing a threat to equipment operation.

KDHF-03 can adsorb trace amounts of low fluoride sulfides, acidic substances, and moisture in SF6 gas. According to relevant authorities, our products have surpassed similar Japanese products in terms of the speed and depth of impurity removal.

Gas Insulated Metal Enclosed Switchgear (GIS) is widely used in high voltage transmission systems. With the effect of high-voltage arc, SF6 can resolve small amounts of low-level fluoride during operation, creating highly toxic and corrosive compounds that threaten both equipment reliability and operating safety.
